For Museums

For Schools

As a featured event at the local science museum,

a theatrical concert, or an all school assembly,

the Science Circus is easily transported and presented.

Museum “tours” usually run Friday through Sunday with weekday in-school assemblies followed by weekend in-museum performances. Museum tours average $3,000 for a three day, 9 show series.

School “Tours” can be arranged for anywhere in the world, if enough schools group together to cover travel expenses.

A single school 100+ miles from Portland, OR area averages $550, but block bookings can lower costs to $400/school.

Show Length

The shows are modular and can be performed as 30-90 minute sets. The average show runs 55 minutes.

Performance Space

The shows are very adaptable and have been presented in fine arts auditoriums, sweaty gyms, cafetoriums, open air festival stages, laser theaters, TV studios, and so on.

Minimum area: 10‘ x 10‘ x 10’ plus audience seating area.

Props and PA

All props are provided. We use our PA (unless flying to your show).  An inflatable backdrop is also available for theatrical and museum shows.

A well lit area is best for juggling. In a theater, a general wash with some back light filling downstage center. Audience volunteers must be able to find way onstage.
